When you've skipped the puzzle, seen the solution, and still thought to yourself 'Good Lord I would never have figured this out and I still have no idea how they got ths solution", maybe the game is too hard. What I saw of the game is pretty and seems to have interesting lore, but graphics and backstory are not enough to make it worth hitting Hint every time it reloads and skipping every puzzle. Frankly it's frustrating that what could have been a great game is largely unplayable.. Not recommended. Unituitive, bad UI, 4*3 resolution. Story is almost nonexistent. Clues stoppped working half way through the story. Drawing is good though. Also there is an item that you never use and it just stays with you till the end. Kinda stange for a HOG. BTW it's not classical HOG actualy. You just have to pixel-hunt few times to collect several objects.. Nice little (short) game with sensible puzzles and good hint system. Some of the objects are a littll;e hard to see though.Last puzzle is a bit annoying. Enjoyable, approx. 4 hours.. The Big Secret of a Small Town is a point and click "crime solving game."(And it is mind bendingly difficult.)You use your mouse to interact with a still screen. You find objects that you need to continue on to the next area. You will need to do a lot of back tracking and searching around carefully. I would recommend playing this on the easy mode, at least at first, so you can get a handle on how the game play works. Hints will tell you what you need to look for next or how certain items interact.You will also periodically come across puzzles. These puzzles can involve placing a pattern in the right order, matching symbols, etc... Some of these are easy and some of them are not. Luckily you can skip these puzzles if they are too hard for you.Story has some interesting points and seems to have a solid lore. Graphics for videos are well done.This type of game is not for everyone. If you like point and click games, like crime solving games, or like visual novels you may like this game. And in terms of the quality of the game I can give it a thumbs up.. This game is really great. Except end. Finale of this game is totally frustrating.. Also, it has a great story and fun story, which is explained by beautifully animated cutscenes.
